After a good day hiking the Presidential Ridge we dropped back down to Crag Camp. I took this northward view at 18 h30. I used a polarizing lens to darken the blue sky and accentuate the cumulus clouds. Luckily the black flies don't show up in this shot!
Paulette and I are walkers. We walk close to home - La Plage Jacques Cartier is our local favourite. We walk with friends - our group is called les TamaLOUPs.We walk
far afield - Scotland, Camino de Santiago, Iceland, New Hampshire, the American Southwest and so on.
I replaced my trusty Pentax K10D (April '10) by a new Canon 7D. It is always at hand; it helps me focus on the beauty of my surroundings. Walking and photography are marvelously symbiotic.
